Introducing FS273M System.

FS273M metal system – the next generation of FS271M – offering single or dual laser options for commercial orders. Farsoon’s FS273M is designated to address productivity, cost-efficiency, and industrial workflow in the metal additive manufacturing. With an industrial-sized 275×275×355mm build envelope, the FS273M is a powerful and versatile production tool of larger volume parts with a wide range of industrial metal materials.

  1. Glove Box

    The integrated, fully sealed glove box located in front of the FS273M system allows convenient and safe breakout operation when the build is completed.

  2. Tool Access

    The unique attachment point located between the gloves offers quick and easy tool access for in-chamber operation without the user needing to come in contact with the powder.

  3. Integrated Filtration System

    The reactive material capable Recirculating Filter System offers efficient filtering of the smoke dust generated in the build chamber during the sintering process. Its advanced capability allows for long-lasting operation hours which help reduce the cost of filter changes.

  4. Shared Material Container

    A shared material container is used during loading, unloading and the sieving procedures offering more convenient powder-handling and transportation between the stations.

  5. Sieving Unit

    The powder sieving unit features a vibration screen offering efficient sieving of recycled metal powder from the material containers to filter out the large particles. The metal powder collected in the refreshed powder container can be re-used for powder supply.

The all new FS273M is designated with many updates that offers streamlined metal production workflow with a wide range of industrial metal materials. The advanced Dual- laser scanning strategy and calibration algorithms offers improved build volume rate by up to 2 times compared to the single-laser configuration; The enhanced communication signal control and the brand-new re־coater design enables robust operational speeds and stable powder delivery throughout the whole manufacturing process.

This set of cavity & core mold is the key components in the whole injection molding system to produce router shell. Because of its complex structure with internal cooling channels, the traditional production takes more than 2 weeks including machining, assembly and post processing. Now with Farsoon’s 273M System, the engineers are able to combine multiple parts into a single part with good material melting uniformity. It also achieved a reduced lead time of only 48 hours and improved surface resolution without the need for further post-processing.

Thanks to Farsoon’s additive technology, organic porous structure design can be applied to the tantalum tibia implant, featuring superior biocompatibility, osteoinductive and bacteriostatic capability compared with traditional implants. The additively designed and manufactured porous tantalum structure has similar elastic modulus with human bone, making it easier and faster for bone tissue integration after the surgery.

Featured with a narrow shape and complex internal cooling channels, the traditional manufacturing process of this pen mold insert is extremely challenging – often result in unevenness of the wall thickness, demolition and leakage. Thanks to Farsoon metal 3D printing, the engineers are able to create a double spiral structure conformal cooling channel. It increases the surface of the waterway to reduce each cycle time of cooling operation by 30%; and boosting an improved cooling effects and optimal final product quality.
