Discover FS200M-2 System

  1. Glove Box

The integrated, fully sealed glove box located in front of the FS200M-2 system allows convenient and safe breakout operation when the build is completed. It offers quick and easy in-chamber powder removal operation without the user needing to come in contact with the material.

  2. Integrated Filtration System

The reactive material capable Recirculating Filter System offers efficient filtering of the smoke dust generated in the build chamber during the sintering process. Its advanced capability allows for long-lasting operation hours which help reduce the cost of filter changes.

  3. Powder Refill Unit

The FS200M-2 is featured with a high-efficiency top-feed powder system. Once the powder level in the container runs low, the equipped sensor will release a message for refill. The powder refill unit can be easily docked, enabling quick refill of the material without disturbing the build process. The material supply volume can be precisely controlled by the sensor as well.

  4. Sieving Unit

The powder sieving unit features a vibration screen offering efficient sieving of recycled metal powder from the material containers to filter out the large particles. The metal powder collected in the refreshed powder container can be re-used for powder supply.

Series Production Ready

Featured with a versatile rectangular build envelope of 425x230x300mm and two powerful 500-Watt fiber lasers, the FS200M-2 is created to meet the highest manufacturing standards for series production in molds & tooling, automotive and many other industries; addressing customer s pain points such as productivity, cosbperformance and ease of use.

Quality + Efficiency

With the combination of advanced duaMaser scanning strategies, industrydeading communication speeds, robust recoater design, the FS2Q0M-2 is able to achieve faster production speed while ensuring required surface quality. The high-efficiency top feed powder system and the convenient powder delivery unit offers great efficiency for material handling without disturbing the build process.

Reduced Manufacturing Cost

Equipped with an integrated, two*stage filter module, the FS200M-2 is suited for longer manufacturing operation and helps reducing the cost of the filter changes. The compact machine design of 3.48 square meters footprint enables denser, flexible factory layout for maximum throughput yield per floor area for a true economical production cost.

Industrial Applications with FS200M-2

Farsoon’s FS200M-2 is a high-value proposition metal system in pursuit of productivity, cost-efficiency and ease of use for a wide range of industrial applications. The rectangular build chamber is well suited for fabrication of large parts which favor one axis, such as applications in aerospace, automotive and tooling.

Shoe Mold

Machine: FS200M-2 Material: Aluminum Size: 332 x 138 x 66 (H) mm each Build Time: 17 Hours

Targeting a series of challenges in traditional shoe sole manufacturing including frequent design updates, low volume customization, and complexity of the pattern, many shoe manufacturers has adopted 3D Printing technology for direct production of end-use shoe sole molds. Rapidly produced on Farsoon’s FS200M dual laser system in only 17 hours, the shoe sole mold has achieved significantly shorter lead time compared to traditional manufacturing. The as-printed part is able to achieve a high surface quality which only need minimum post-processing such as bead blasting before used for injection molding.

Nozzle with Internal Cooling Channel

Machine: FS200M-2 Material: Inconel 718 Size: 72 x 67 x 136 (H) mm Industry: Aviation

This fuel injection nozzle is a key component developed by a leading aviation industry cooperation. The manufacturing of this part is extremely challenging due to the complex internal geometries. Now with Farsoon additive technology, the engineers are able to achieve structural integration from 20 parts to only 1; and adopting many advanced designs such as optimized wall thickness and internal channels; During the functional test it shows a significant improvement in fuel efficiency and engine performance, which will eventually contribute to a longer nozzle life span.

Automotive Heat Exchanger

Machine: FS200M-2 Material: Aluminum Minimum wall thickness: 0.2 mm Partner: SAPW

This heat exchanger for automotive featuring many complicated design elements including internal channels and thin wall structures in order to meet the required functionality. Compared to the traditional machining and welding method, the additive technology offers simplified manufacturing process boosts structural integration, improved life span, and faster design to market time.

Use Cases

Aerospace Nozzles with Internal Cooling

Used to produce Inconel 718 fuel injection nozzles with complex internal cooling channels, enabling single-piece integration instead of assembling 20 separate parts. This led to improved fuel efficiency, engine performance, and longer nozzle life.

Efficient Material Handling & Low Cost

Equipped with a high-efficiency top-feed powder system and an integrated two-stage recirculating filtration module, the FS200M-2 supports longer, uninterrupted builds while minimizing consumable costs. Together with its compact 3.48 m² footprint, it enables highly cost-effective factory layouts.

Automotive Heat Exchangers

The FS200M-2 manufactured aluminum heat exchangers with ultra-thin walls (as low as 0.2 mm) and intricate internal channeling. Additive production simplified manufacturing, enhanced part integration, and accelerated time-to-market compared to traditional machining and welding.

Series Production Tooling

With its 425 × 230 × 300 mm build volume and dual 500 W fiber lasers, the FS200M-2 is optimized for medium- to high-volume metal series production—perfect for sectors like molds & tooling, automotive, and aerospace.

Shoe Mold Production

The FS200M-2 excels in rapid tooling for shoe sole molds. One example: aluminum shoe molds were printed (332 × 138 × 66 mm) in just 17 hours. The result: exceptional surface finish with minimal post-processing (bead blasting), drastically reducing lead times for design iterations.
