Industrial metal 3D printer (LPBF)
A medium-to-large metal laser powder bed fusion system designed for continuous series production, with a build volume up to 425 × 425 × 550 mm and single or quad 500 W lasers.
FS422M is built on the CAMS (Continuous Additive Manufacturing Solution) concept: continuous AM production through vertical scalability and modularization, designed to integrate into an industrial manufacturing facility.
The system consists of separate stations. A removable build cartridge is placed in the build station and the job is loaded into Farsoon BuildStar software. The cartridge is then moved to the breakout station, which has blowing and suction functions and glove boxes and operates under inert gas protection. Powder is top-fed without interrupting the build, and recycled powder is sieved under inert gas at the sieving station.
The permanent filtration system has a service life of more than 10 years and can handle reactive materials. The volume build rate reaches up to 150 cm³/h, and open parameters let users tailor the process to their application.
425 × 425 × 420 mm or 425 × 425 × 550 mm, depending on the configuration.
316L, AlMgScZr, AlSi10Mg, CuSn10, HAYNES 230, HX, IN625, IN718, TA15 and Ti6Al4V, with argon or nitrogen as the protective gas.
CAMS (Continuous Additive Manufacturing Solution) is Farsoon's concept for continuous production based on modular stations that integrate into an industrial facility.
