The ATO Induction Melting System (IMS) is an optional, easy-to-swap module for ATO ultrasonic atomizers. It allows atomization of irregular-shape feedstock and minimizes evaporation of low melting point elements.
Overview
ATO IMS is an optional module by 3D Lab (Poland) that extends the capabilities of ATO ultrasonic metal atomizers. It turns metals and alloys into fine, homogeneous powder, handles irregular-shape feedstock and minimizes evaporation of low melting point elements.
The module removes restrictions on feedstock form: you can choose a crucible or rod feeders depending on the task. Standard crucibles have a volume of 200 cm³, with larger crucibles on request. IMS is intended for research labs and additive manufacturing centers.
