Ultrasonic atomizer for precious metal powders
ATO Noble is an ultrasonic metal powder atomizer with the same basic features as ATO Lab Plus, modified to produce precious metal powders.
Overview
ATO Noble is designed to produce powders of gold, silver, platinum, palladium and other precious metals. There is no minimum load limit and the system is easy to switch to another material, which supports cost-effective atomization of expensive and rare alloys.
Zero Loss technology minimizes material loss through a specially adapted filtration system and a closed gas circulation loop, and valuable material can be recovered for reuse at the touch of a button.
The metal is melted by an electric arc (TIG); ultrasonic vibrations then create capillary waves in the melt that eject droplets, which solidify in an inert gas atmosphere into almost perfectly spherical particles. The unit measures 200 × 110 × 76 cm, weighs 600 kg and is mounted on roller wheels.
