Large-format metal 3D printer (LPBF)
A large-format metal laser powder bed fusion system with a rectangular 720 × 420 × 420 mm build volume and two or four 500 W lasers.
The FS721M is Farsoon's production platform for metal laser powder bed fusion (LPBF). Its rectangular 720 × 420 × 420 mm build volume suits large parts that favor one axis, common in automotive and tooling. It is available with 2 × 500 W (FS721M-2) or 4 × 500 W (FS721M-4) lasers; the eight-laser configuration (8 × 1000 W, FS721M-8) is in beta status.
After the build, the cartridge moves on an internal conveyor to the integrated, fully enclosed breakout station, where powder is removed without direct operator contact. The system also includes a recirculating filter rated for reactive materials, a powder supply system under inert gas protection and a vibrating sieving station.
Software control and a precise scanning system provide uniform results in multi-laser overlap zones, and real-time recoating monitoring tracks build quality. Processing parameters are open to the user.
The list includes 316L, AlSi10Mg, HX, IN718, Maraging Steel Grade 300, TA15 and Ti6Al4V.
FS721M-2 has 2 × 500 W, FS721M-4 has 4 × 500 W. According to Farsoon, the FS721M-8 (8 × 1000 W) is in beta status.
Power is 400 V ±10%, three-phase, 50 Hz, 40 A, with an operating ambient temperature of 22–28°C. The machine weighs 5000 kg.
